One person has been killed following a shooting incident on the N3 near the Sherwood off-ramp in Durban.
Emer-G-Med spokesperson Kyle van Reenen said the deceased was found with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police are investigating the incident.
Also in KwaZulu-Natal, a gang of alleged cattle thieves was intercepted by a security company on the N2 near Winklespruit.
One suspect was shot dead after opening fire on security teams.
Slaughtered cows were found in the bakkie they were travelling in.
Small-scale farmers have been targeted for months.
