KZN ANC members want regional task team to be disbanded

Members of the ANC in the Moses Mabhida Region have marched to the party’s regional headquarters in Pietermaritzburg.

They are demanding the disbandment of the regional task team.

They also want the mayoral candidate interviews stopped.

In June, the region was supposed to hold its elective conference, but because of COVID-19, it could not take place.

Members say there’s no reason why the region should remain in the leadership of the task team.
