Good news for Kwaito superstar Professor

South African Kwaito star Mkhonzeni Langa, best known on stage as the Kalawa Jazmee artist, Professor recently reportedly got married to his nurse lover. According to a source that was said to have spoken to ZiMoja, Professor and his newly-wedded wife were reportedly said to have started dating just about five years ago.

Professor’s bride was described to be a shy person who unlike her husband preferred a life away from the spotlight. They have been together forever; she is happy being unknown and working as a nurse,” a source was quoted as saying.

It was also reported that the newlyweds had hosted a traditional ceremony, umembeso, where close friends and family were said to have celebrated with them.

Meanwhile, another Durban marriage is allegedly not doing so well. DJ Tira—real name Mthokozisi Khathi and his wife Gugu have been making headlines recently and not for the right reasons.

According to TimesLIVE, DJ Tira recently had to slam infidelity rumours regarding his wife. Gugu was accused of allegedly having an affair with Khanyi Mbau’s ex-boyfriend former Kwela Tebza group member Tebogo Lerole.

GBV activist Slindile Khumalo reportedly claimed to have witnessed Gugu visit Tebogo in Eastern Cape recently. In the midst of things, Gugu has reportedly threatened to involve the law in the matter. Meanwhile, her alleged master was quoted as saying,

“She [Slindile] wrote the message saying she will get back at me and claimed that Gugu and I are having an affair. I am not bothered by that. [And], I think Gugu knows the truth, her team knows the truth and I think even the husband knows the truth. I have known Gugu since I was 15 years old.
