Electricity Minister visits Kusile Power Station again

Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa is visiting the Kusile Power Station in Delmas.

He will receive a status report on measures taken to bring back four units damaged since December.

Ramokgopa says he wants to ensure the station gets back on track to produce much-needed megawatts.

At the same time, South Africa will have to endure another week of rolling blackouts.

Stage 3 blackouts kicked in at 5 am on Monday morning and will continue till 4 pm on Monday afternoon when it escalates to Stage 5.
