Bheki Cele says police not to be blamed in Krugersdorp gang r@pe case

Police Minister Bheki Cele is confident the Krugersdorp gang rape case will be cracked soon.

Police have been forced to go back to the drawing board after the robbery, rape and sexual assault charges against the 14 men accused of the gang rape incident were withdrawn on Thursday.

DNA tests have excluded all the suspects from the crime.

Eight women were gang raped in July while filming a music video at a disused mine in Krugersdorp.

Meanwhile, West Village residents say the latest developments in the case come as no surprise as they expected bungles from the police.
