Komani Town Hall in Eastern Cape goes up in flames

The Komani Town Hall in the Eastern Cape has been mysteriously torched. This is the home of the Enoch Mgijima local municipality council which is regarded as a historical site in the area.

The building caught fire on Saturday morning.

Community members lent a helping hand to put out the fire. It is alleged that the fire services responding to the blaze was inadequate.
