Hawks to investigate Komani stadium fiasco

The Hawks has confirmed that it is taking over the investigation into the development of Komani’s so-called ‘stadium’.

The rather flimsy-looking Lesseyton Sports Field cost R15m but was tendered for R22m. According to local contractors, they were allegedly overlooked when the stadium was built.
