After days of firefighting efforts, the blaze in Kleinmond has been contained.
The fire first broke out on Saturday.
It’s destroyed about 5,200 hectares of veld.
Trevor Abrahams. Director of Working on Fire said: “The fire has been declared contained which means it’s unlikely to spread in the immediate future.
“The mop-up is going right now…this has been achieved through a massive effort, the weather has played in our favour,” he said.
