Kirsten Kluyts murder-accused maintains innocence as bail bid continues
The 21-year-old student accused of raping and killing Kirsten Kluyts continues his bail bid on Tuesday.
The Joburg teacher was out running in October when her body was found on an embankment in Sandton.
The accused, during his bail application, admitted to wearing her clothes after he left the scene but is adamant he didn’t kill her.
He says he found her body and after checking for a pulse took her clothes fearing his DNA would on the scene.
It has also emerged that Kluyts was pregnant at the time of her murder.
