Khanya Mkangisa is one of South Africa’s most popular media personalities. The starlet started her career as a child presenter and since then, she has transitioned into a sought-after actress and radio jock.
Earlier this year, Khanya was reportedly detained. According to Sunday Sun, The Queen actress spent the night in the holding cells at Randburg Police Station. This was after it was alleged that Khanya damaged a BMW belonging to Katlego Mphuthi, who also happens to reside in the same complex as the actress.
Shortly after that, Khanya set the record straight in a radio interview. Speaking to Mo Flava on Metro FM, the actress revealed that she was indeed involved in an accident but found that the story was unnecessarily exaggerated.
“I don’t want to get into it but basically, I was definitely not involved in a hit and run. I don’t know how this story blew way out of proportion.”
It seems like there is more drama for the actress, according to TMI, the media personality was reportedly arrested on an undisclosed date and there is a video doing the rounds on social media. Take a look at the video below:
