On Friday, 20 March 2020, Kelly Khumalo addressed a social media user who suggested that her children, Christopher and Thingo, are not proud of her.
The suggestion that her children are not proud of was in response to a promotional image of her new gin brand, with a humorous caption about her possible weight gain and drinking problem after the quarantine. Following the user’s tweet, Kelly defensively questioned why her children would not be proud of her.
