Kelly Khumalo has just completed her month-long birthday tour, with her birthday extravaganza. As the actress turns 37, it is clear that she ages like fine wine. Her entire birthday event has set the bar high for all other birthdays that will ever be held in this country, and we can’t even compete.

Her birthday tour featured a big concert, where she received a lot of love from loyal fans. Singer Vusi Nova also joined her at the concert, as part of showing his love, support and best birthday wishes for the vocal highness. The two are close friends, and had a lovely trio with choreographer Somizi Mhlongo.

In a video she shared of herself on stage at the concert, she holds the microphone to the crowd and they all sing her “Happy birthday”. She was very moved by the gesture and the love it signifies. She then proceeds to rock the stage like only Kelly can do, with a powerful stage presence and a voice that can move mountains. Sharing the video, she captioned it “Best Birthday gift ever”, and Kelly, we agree.

What could be better than knowing that the art you put out is so greatly appreciated, and people relate to it deeply. The video of the fans singing along to her song nearly moved us to tears.
