Kelly Khumalo can’t catch a break from Social Media

This morning, singer Kelly Khumalo made a statement in regards to her involvement (or rather her lack of involvement) in her ex-boyfriend Senzo Meyiwa’s murder case. But really, although her fight with the justice system continues-nobody gives her a harder sentence than the trolls of social media. Hence why this musician sees herself at the top of the Twitter trends. Again.

After this statement was posted, the trolls and the supporters have been going head to head in mortal combat at Kelly’s expense.

This isn’t the first time Kelly has had to defend herself against those who feel she should be nailed to the cross and unfortunately, this may not be the last time she’ll face the haters until they feel like the case is resolved.

But reports have stated there is a breakthrough with the Senzo Meyiwa case. The Sowetan has reported that there are three well-known personalities and a top cop who are allegedly facing imminent arrest for defeating the ends of justice in the murder case of the late Bafana Bafana goalkeeper.

A fourth person, who is also well-known, is also facing arrest in the next few days for the murder of Meyiwa but (and yes, there is a but) the people of social media aren’t buying what these reports are saying.

Stacks and stacks of clapbacks and endless jabs have been made on social media still adding Kelly to the cake mix. The fight continues on the Twitter streets but really, the matter is meant to be solved by the justice system and nobody else. Hopefully for the sake of Kelly Khumalo and the Meyiwa family, the case can be solved sooner, rather than later.
