Confusion as Jub Jub and his ex-girlfriend Kelly Khumalo wish their Son a happy Birthday on different days
Musician and TV host Jub Jub might be a little embarrassed if he were to visit his ex-girlfriend Kelly Khumalo’s Instagram. We know we would be.
The ‘Ndikhokhele‘ hitmaker proudly took to his Instagram last week on the 5th of May to wish his son Christian a happy birthday.
Christian is Jub Jub and Kelly Khumalo‘s son, whom they had in 2010. The rapper also has a baby girl with his wife.
Penning a sweet birthday message to his son, he wrote: “Happy birthday my boy, in this life I want nothing but the best for you… you growing up so fast and I can’t wait to wrap my arms around you. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH”

However, it seems as if Jub Jub got the dates mix up somehow, because Kelly did not post anything on that day. If anything, fans were wondering why she had been silent, only to find out that Christians birthday is actually on the 12th of May.
The ‘Empini’ hitmaker and reality TV star took to her Instagram on Wednesday, 12 May, to pen a short and sweet message to her son Christian. Was she throwing a little shade there too?
“My heart in a human form. #ItsA11 ❤️ when I say I got you, I got you not the other way around. You know this,” Kelly wrote.

The two musicians have had their fair share of drama where their son is concerned. In fact, the pair have been known to have a rocky relationship for many years, which resulted in Kelly gaining full custody of their son.
When Jub Jub was released from prison in 2017, he revealed that he had not met his son, claiming that the songstress had denied him access.
In an interviewed on Motswako the same year, Kelly revealed that Jub Jub had not been in contact with their son Christian.
She had further said that as a protective mother, she is not comfortable with letting people of a certain character anywhere near her children. Kelly went on to say that Jub Jub had never made any arrangements to see his son, and she cannot make such arrangements for him.
In 2020, when Kelly’s reality TV show, Life with Kelly Khumalo, debuted on Showmax, a scene about her son being suspended from school for stealing aired. Kelly’s mother was heard telling her that Christian behaves this way because he doesn’t have a father figure, to which she suggested that Kelly reaches out to Jub Jub. In response she told her mother that she would not be made a fool by Jub Jub and told her mother that she had not seen him in 9 years because he has not reached out.
