Just in: ANC to announce final list

There are problems with the ANC lists at the party’s national list conference currently underway in Durban.

The lists decide who the party will send to Parliament and the various legislatures after the national elections.

All the provinces except the North West have concluded their provincial list conferences.

The ANC NEC is currently vetting those who’ve made it to the top out of four hundred members who’ll go to the National Assembly.

Malusi Gigaba, Mosebenzi Zwane, Nomvula Mokonyane and Bathabile Dlamini are among those who’ve been shortlisted but the SACP says those who’ve been found wanting will not feature as MPs.
