Julius Malema got dragged for wearing a R21 000 Jacket

Julius Malema is all for the poor but that does mean that he has to be clad in drab clothing? The young political leader recently got dragged for wearing an expensive jacket which many perceived as a mismatch to his stance as an ambassador for the poor.

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) recently turned 6years old and has shown impressive growth as the country’s third-biggest party. In true politics style, the party held a huge gathering, whereby scores of the party’s supporters came through to celebrate this milestone.

It was during this event saw curious Tweeps point out that Julius was wearing an expensive jacket from an Italian brand, Moncler which is approximately priced at around R22,000.

Media personality, Sizwe Dhlomo, came to Juju’s defense on Twitter as he stated that the EFF’s commander in chief earns enough money to afford all the finer things in life.
With all of these high-end purchases, it’s clear that some of our celebrities are rolling in the dough.

Last year, award-winning musician, Sjava set social media abuzz after being spotted wearing a jacket worth a whopping 47K. The Umama hitmaker was performing at the DSTV Mzansi Magic Viewers Choice awards when a tag was still attached to the singer’s jacket.

It wasn’t clear whether he was set to return the jacket to the designer or he “forgot” to cut off the tag.

Another celeb that is obviously living THE luxurious life is Bonang Matheba. During an interview on Metro FM, Bonang revealed that the most unnecessary clothing item that she had ever spent a lot of money on was a tracksuit worth R95,000.

Well Queen B has worked hard for her paper and surely she can go on that splurging trip with no care in the world.
