Black Twitter blasts media personality who called Julius Malema a puppet

Social media personality Renaldo Gouws fired shots at Julius Malema. Gouws shared a screenshot of Juju at the memorial service for Mugabe. The YouTuber dubbed both Malema and Mugabe “puppets”.

Speaking at the service, Malema praised Zimbabwe for obtaining freedom without the ‘sunset clauses’ South Africa had needed to negotiate the birth of democracy in the nation. YouTuber Renaldo Gouws took to social media to share a screenshot of Juju at the memorial service and he went on to throw serious shade at the EFF leader.

Gouws dubbed Malema and the late Uncle Bob “puppets” but added the only difference was that Juju had a pulse.

The post read:

“That awkward moment you see two puppets in one photo but one actually has a pulse. Malema is a “Mugabe with no power”. If he had to have the keys to the country you can rest assured that he will make Mugabe’s failures look like child’s play.”

The post divided social media users, with some finding it offensive while others were left in stitches. Twitter user, @Rebaone59275709, commented: “If Malema is our puppet then we love him as long as he is not that kind of puppet Ramaphosa is.”
