Rasta paints Joseph Shabalala – Has he improved?

The viral artist has once again come in the spotlight after doing a portrait of late Joseph Shabalala and this time seems like he has improved than his previous paintings.
Rasta is popularly known for failing to accurately depict his subjects through his paintings. He usually does portraits of late celebrities and honors the living ones as well.
Throughout his entire career of painting celebs, Lebani Sirenje has painted many late heroes however the one he worked on the late Joseph is getting a few thumbs up from people.
The founder of Grammy award-winning group Lady Smith Black Mambazo will receive a state funeral and many have gathered to give him a dignified send-off. Rasta could not let this opportunity pass him by and has picked up his brushes to paint a portrait that has received some mixed reactions.
Social media seems to have ‘forgiven’ Rasta after his recent failure, which was his depiction of Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi during her homecoming.

Even though his painting has received some negative reviews and heavy backlash from people, others have commended his persistence and shows some signs of improving. It’s good to see that not everybody has ganged up on the painter.

Likewise. I can see the improvement. We are going to learn something very important about belief in self, persistence, and blocking out negativity, from this man. I am impressed that he keeps forging ahead, and this time, while his painting is not perfect, it is better.
