ActionSA to table no-confidence motions against Joburg mayor

ActionSA plans to submit no-confidence motions against Joburg mayor Thapelo Amad and Speaker Colleen Makhubele.
The motions will be tabled on 25 April.
The party says service delivery has deteriorated since Amad was elected into office.
It also points to a recent television interview where he was criticized for discussing a potential loan agreement.
Regarding Makhubele, Action SA says the Speaker claimed to be ill and unable to fulfill her duties on 22 March.
But the very same day she appeared at the Tshwane Council during their sitting.
The party has warned that it will litigate against any efforts by Makhubele to protect herself and her political allies.
