Two people killed in bus accident on Joburg Highway

Two people have been killed in a bus accident on the N12 west near the Xavier Street off-ramp.
It’s understood that the bus, carrying over 60 passengers, overturned on Tuesday morning after the driver lost control of the vehicle.
Emergency services are the scene where at least 20 people have been injured and taken to various hospitals.
All lanes on that road have been closed off to traffic and motorist are being urged to avoid the area.
Joburg Emergency Services Nana Radebe says: “We’re still on scene but there was no people who are still stuck and we’re still doing verification for final check-ups.”
