Police are investigating allegations of assault at a crèche in the West Rand, Johannesburg. This after a video showing toddlers allegedly being slapped by three adults at the daycare centre.
Police spokesperson Colonel Lungelo Dlamini said the owners of the daycare were taken in for questioning on Thursday. Three people were released after being taken in for questioning. Investigations continue and the case has been handed to a prosecutor for a final decision.
Dlamini could not say whether the crèche was operating since the incident.
