COVID-19: J&J booster shot available

The Health Department is ready to roll out J&J booster shots.

To qualify for the booster the single-dose shot should be administered at least two months after receiving the first shot.

Those who have been vaccinated with the two-shot Pfizer will also soon be able to get their booster but only six months after becoming fully vaxed.

Health Department Deputy Director-General Nicholas Crisp has encouraged people to take up this opportunity to bolster their immunity.

Meanwhile, 18,847 new COVID-19 infections were recorded in the last 24 hours.
