Police in Jeppestown – cars damaged & shops looted

There is a heavy police presence in Jeppestown, Johannesburg after cars were damaged and shops looted.

Four people have been arrested for possession of stolen property and will appear in court soon.

The unrest erupted after 3 people burnt to death in an abandoned building in Karl Street.

Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire and are talking to witnesses who survived.
