James Gunn leads the tributes to Halyna Hutchins after the late cinematographer was accidentally fatally hit by a “prop gun” fired by Alec Baldwin.

Santa Fe County Sheriff Juan Rios confirmed the identities of the two crew members shot and that it was the 68-year-old Hollywood star who discharged the firearm, and while no charges have been made at this time, the investigation is ongoing as they continue to interview witnesses. A statement read: “The sheriff’s office confirms that two individuals were shot on the set of ‘Rust’.

“Halyna Hutchins, 42, director of photography and Joel Souza, 48, director, were shot when a prop firearm was discharged by Alec Baldwin, 68, producer and actor.
