Arthur Fraser sticks to his guns over Jacob Zuma’s medical parole

The Department of Corrections head Arthur Fraser is sticking to his guns over former president Jacob Zuma’s medical parole. Fraser says he has no problem with the Democratic Alliance’s challenge to the decision to release Zuma on medical parole.
As I’ve said previously, it’s a legal procedure. I have no problem. People have the right to challenge,” Fraser said. I’m confident in my decisions. Everybody has the right to criticise. Whatever is required of me I will adhere to that.
Three organisations launched a court bid to obtain the reasons for Zuma’s release on medical parole and have that decision set aside. The DA, AfriForum and the Helen Suzman Foundation have filed papers in the High Court in Pretoria to review Zuma’s release.
