Zondo Commission sets dates for Jacob Zuma testimony

Former president Jacob Zuma has been summoned to appear before the state capture inquiry next year.
The Zondo Commission has issued a statement, saying the dates of 18 to 22 January 2021 and 15 to 19 February 2021 have been set aside to hear the evidence.
The commission has lodged an urgent application with the Constitutional Court for the declaration that Zuma’s exit from the commission proceedings on 19 November was unlawful and his failure to appear the next day was also unlawful.
The application also asks the Constitutional Court to require him to account for the exercise of his public powers as president concerning the matters being investigated by the commission.
