Former president Jacob Zuma loses another appeal

Former president Jacob Zuma has lost his appeal against the personal costs order against him by the Pretoria High Court. This is in relation to his challenge against the State Capture Report.

The Supreme Court of Appeal has also ordered punitive costs for that appeal.

The court previously dismissed Zuma’s application for a permanent stay of prosecution.

His legal team has stated Zuma is within his constitutional rights to appeal all the way to the highest court in the land. The judgment was handed down earlier on Friday afternoon.
