Jacob Zuma to attend Sona

Former president Jacob Zuma will attend the State of the Nation Address on Thursday. Parliament has announced that Zuma will be in the house when his successor President Cyril Ramaphosa addresses the nation.

Last week, Zuma was a no show at court citing ill health.

A judge rejected his sick note and issued a warrant for his arrest, which has been stayed until his next court appearance in May.

Parliament has also announced that former presidents Thabo Mbeki and Kgalema Motlanthe will be in attendance.
