ANC notes Jacob Zuma’s announcement, says Ramaphosa

The ANC says it’s noted former president Jacob Zuma’s weekend announcement that he will not be voting or campaigning for the party during next year’s general election.

Party president, Cyril Ramaphosa, says while they’re not ready to divulge what action will be taken, every South African has a right to vote for whoever they want.

Zuma announced on Saturday that he will be voting for the newly registered, Umkhonto we Sizwe party, next year.

He says the ANC has taken a turn for the worse under Ramaphosa’s leadership.

Ramaphosa said, “We all listened to that announcement and we have noted what he has said what he has announced and that’s as far as we’re prepared to go at this point in this. Everyone is our country is free to express themselves in relation to who they’ll vote for and why and we have noted what lour former president Jacob Zuma has announced
