E-tolls are not working, says Jacob Mamabolo

E-tolls should be scrapped, according to Gauteng Transport and Roads MEC Jacob Mamabolo.

He adds that the system is unnecessary and costly for motorists.

This comes after Cosatu lobbied workers and residents to ignore e-toll bills.

However, Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula says e-tolls are here to stay.
