Gqom’ artist, TDK Macasette (whose real name is Thandeka Mkhwanazi) keeps a low profile when it comes to her private life. Sis has been steady focusing on her music. However, the 27-year-old singer and dancer is alleged to be in a relationship with Vuzu Rich kids star and rapper Liberty Mike Mhlanga; affectionately known as YBK. The pair were spotted at the campaign of the new Renault KWID (looking quite cosy) and TDK wearing a big rock on her finger. When asked by Drum, the Domoroza singer rubbished the rumours and took a page out of Bonang’s book when she called the ring a ‘stop nonsense’.
“No man. I’m not dating. This ring is just a stop-nonsense. I’m not engaged or getting married to anyone. I’ve honestly got a very dry love life because I am focusing on my music,” she told the publication.
A close friend, however, confirmed that the Left right hitmaker is indeed engaged to her 26-year-old bae.
“Of course, she will deny it because she hasn’t done things the traditional way. But those two are definitely dating and they are engaged. You just wait and see next year. She will confirm it. Well, that’s if it lasts,” said the mole. When YBK was contacted, he simply laughed and said that he is not getting involved, TDK should answer.
