SIU to investigate allegations of corruption at NSFAS

President Cyril Ramaphosa has authorized the Special Investigating Unit to probe allegations of corruption and maladministration at the National Students Finance Aid Scheme.

He wants authorities to recover any financial losses suffered by the State, through corruption and negligence.

The SIU will probe the management of NSFAS finances.

It will also investigate the allocation of loans and bursaries.
