SA whistleblowers recognised with international award

Four South African whistleblowers have been recognized for their bravery in speaking out against injustice.
Athol Williams and Bianca Goodson are among those who have won the Blueprint Whistleblowing Prize for 2022.
Blueprint for Free Speech is an internationally recognized non-profit charity that provides research and analysis in support of freedom of expression for all people, as described in the UN Declaration of Human Rights.
Goodson says she wishes the honour was from the South African government.
