WHO YOU ARE:
You are the checker, the person ensuring everything is correct.
You’ve worked hard obtaining:
B.Com degree in Internal Audit or equivalent
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA advantageous)
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA advantageous)
Min 3 years Internal Audit experience (ideally within a business)
Interest in Forensic Accounting
Your skills include:
Strong internal audit data analytics capability
Solid administration and time management skills
Strong business acumen
Self-motivated and disciplined
Inquiring mind, innovative and eager to learn
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and adhere to yearly internal audit plan
Develop and maintain a risk register
Develop and execute program guides per process-cycle
Perform internal audit data analytics
Process-flow creation
Evaluate the adequacy & effectiveness of internal controls system
Able to identify control gaps and apply best practice knowledge
to mitigate risk
Ensure a regular review of processes and policies take place as
defined
Develop an issue tracker schedule encompassing internal audit
findings
Periodically review and validate management responses on
internal audit findings and report on results
