About the Position:
We require an Insurance Assistant who will be required to facilitate claims between clients and the insurer. Facilitate underwriting, send out renewals and policy documents relating to amendments to policies. Facilitate the insurance certificate request and issue the certificate. Request quotations and prepare a summary of quotations received.
Must have an RE5 representative certificate.
Must be able to present the credits obtained for short term insurance – NQF 4
4+ years’ experience in the insurance industry.
Must be well-groomed and presentable.
Experience in short term underwriting and handling claims.
Living in Centurion is preferred.
Must have matric and a clear criminal record.
The ideal candidate would have the following requirements:
Strong in providing excellent service to all our customers, inside and outside the organization.
Must be able to work under pressure.
Strong telephone and email etiquette skills.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Ability to manage claims from start to completion.
MS Office – intermediate level
