Inquest into Life Esidimeni patient deaths continues
Former Life Esidimeni staffers are set to give evidence into a fresh inquest into the tragedy on Wednesday. 144 mental health patients lost their lives when they were moved to ill-equipped NGOs after the Gauteng Health Department suddenly ended its contract with Life Esidimeni in 2015.
