Job Description:
Investigate all negative incidents / adverse events and ensure appropriate capturing on IMS.
Liaise with Public Liability with regard to all incidents of potential infection risk to the business
Timeous resolution of complaints and implementation of IPP Programmes.
Identify areas of non-compliance through clinical audits and CSA.
Liaising with all Microbiological Committee and continue all meetings timouesly with all stakeholders.
Build strategic inter-departmental relationships to help achieve business goals at departmental level within the hospital
Responsible for fostering an effective working relationship with service providers
Co-ordinate the election and appointment of IPP committee which should include doctors, pathologists, pharmacists and representatives of all the departments in the hospital
Co-ordinate the election and appointment of IPP Link Nurses in all Units/Departments and keep letters of appointment on file for security and audit purposes

Candidate Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
7 years or more experience as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 2 years experience working as an Infection Control Coordinator in a hospital.
Should have excellent communication and negotiating skills, teaching ability and organizational skills
Be tenacious and able to tolerate high stress levels.
Good knowledge of & passion for Infection Prevention.
