Several people are behind bars this morning following protests in Alexandra.
A group calling themselves the Alex Dudula Movement, not to be confused with Operation Dudula, attacked several foreign-owned shops in the area on Monday.
The group is blaming illegal foreigners for a spike in crime, drug dealing, and stealing their jobs.
At least four people were wounded in the clashes.
Police say they won’t allow the group to shut down the area until their demands are met.
