These businesses enhance our corporate business offering through providing integrated solutions for corporate clients both in South Africa and across the African continent by providing tailored solutions to targeted corporates. SEB CORE specializes in retirement fund administration to institutional retirement funds spread over a number of industries and services from large single employer run stand-alone funds to multi-employer umbrella funds. This business unit is also responsible for ongoing client servicing ranging from board of Trustees, Employers, Intermediaries and Employees. It is also responsible for the IT deliverables and digital strategy for Sanlam Employee Benefits.
What will you do?
Under limited supervision, provides key support for functional groups, including performance of a wide variety of specialised clerical functions involving compiling and arranging data, making computations, laying out and preparing reports, processing and coding documents and maintaining specialised and comprehensive records and filing. Sets up and prepares statistical reports. Resolves discrepancies and may communicate with a variety of administrative and professional employees within and outside the company.

Participating Employers or member groups on existing Freestanding and Umbrella Funds
● The maintenance on our member administration system of
cost revisions
rule amendments

portfolio changes
ad-hoc changes
● The ability to analyse and access supporting documentation used in the implementation setup processes and to identify any development or improvement areas.
● The understanding and testing of all operational and implementation functions on our member administration system. Examples include:
monthly contribution process
general ledger reconciliations
different exit types
switches
life stages
medical underwriting
● The understanding and testing of all additional tools which is used to perform operational functions. Examples are:

● The identification of system malfunctioning, liaising with support departments and successfully resolve the problem
● The performing of calculations which are required in any of the setup processes. The complexity level ranges from simple to medium.
● The testing of new setup related functionality which are developed
● The ability to manage your own table as per pre-defined or agreed upon service level agreements. This means that all tasks must be completed within the required timelines and all steak holders must be informed regularly as required.
● The recording of all tasks received on our monthly reporting tool.
Qualification and Experience
Grade 12 with 1 to 2 years related experience.
Knowledge and Skills
Processing transactions and conduct simple calculations (where applicable)
Recordkeeping, filing, and maintenance of databases
Maintain work standards and quality verification
Collating information for reporting
Transfer of knowledge on leading practice and processes
