A total of 63 miners have resurfaced overnight from Impala Platinum’s mine in Rustenburg.
It follows an underground sit-in by over 2,000 miners.
Management say they have not yet heard the demands of the illegal strike.
Operations at the two shafts have been suspended.
The National Union of Mineworkers is negotiating with the protesting miners.
