IEC official who leaked party lists fired

The IEC has fired the official it believes was responsible for leaked party lists.

The individual leaked lists from the ANC and MK Party.

The electoral body says the official also retrieved information regarding other political parties.

The person worked at one of the IEC offices in Gauteng.

The ANC says it has full confidence in the IEC despite the leak.
