The search for next IEC boss underway

The search for the next IEC boss is on. A total of nine candidates are gunning for it, including the outgoing commissioner, Glen Mashinini.

Mashinini says his seven years tenure speaks volumes about the turnaround he brought to the office.

He unpacked his achievements saying, “…the seven years was characterised among other achievements, distinguished success…this is no longer debatable..the IEC has for the first time after many years delivered its activities and achieved the auditor general clean audit..wed had to work very hard and in that process we then strengthened the governance.
