The finale is fast approaching and the ultimate winner of the singing competition will be crowned.

The top three were announced at the beginning of the show. Princess, Thabo and Faith will fight for the number one spot and will be recording their own songs.

The three had the opportunity to perform with Deep London and DJ Heavy K on stage.

First on stage was Thabo and Heavy K who did a rendition of Inde. Heavy K encouraged Thabo to believe in himself.

“No matter how many times you fail you keep on going, and you pray,” he said.

Somizi said he enjoyed their performance.

“For once it’s nice to see Thabo relaxed. At this point there is nothing more you can do, you just have to keep us glued,” he said.

Thembi said Thabo now understands himself.

“I love the discipline on stage,” she said.

JR said Thabo has good timing.

“Today you just showed that you are a master of your craft,” he said.

Faith followed on stage with Deep London performing Piano Ngijabulise.

Thembi said he made them happy.

“You mentioned the hard work behind the scenes, it’s the beginning,” she said.

JR said the performance showed versatility. “You’ve showed what you can do and how people love you,” he said.

Somizi said Faith’s story must teach people that God’s delay is not His denial.

The next performance was by Princess with Deep London and they did a rendition of Hamba Wena.

JR said it was the best performance of the first round.

“You are a star!” added Somizi.

Thembi said she’d change Princess’ name to Queen.

“Me dancing was celebrating that you are here,” she said.

Thabo started the second round with Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours by Stevie Wonder.

All three judges were thoroughly impressed by his performance.

Faith followed with a rendition of Tjontjobina by Bhudaza.

Thembi said he reminded her of Solly Mogolo.

“This type of genre is perfect for your voice,” she said.

Both JR and Somizi shared the same sentiments.

Princess followed with Rihanna’s Russian Roulette.

JR said vocally she is the Lewis Hamilton of the evening.

“You are killing it, you are on point,” he said.

Somizi said vocally the song was beautiful.

“When you make it to the final, what separates the winner is the emotions of the song so you can draw us in,” he said.

Thembi said there was a great balance.

“This performance was all about vocals. No one can touch you when it comes to vocals,” she said.

In their last round of performances, they sang their idol’s songs.

Thabo started the last round with a song by You are by Hle.

Somizi said Gospel is Thabo’s calling. Thembi said Thabo can never be boxed and JR said Hle should listen to how the song should be sung.

Faith followed with Thrrr…Phaaa! by Selaelo Selota.

Thembi said the song choice was perfect.

Princess closed the show with Beyoncé’s Listen.

JR said it was a smart song choice.

“We are getting to see the kind of people you are,” he said.

Somizi said she looked and sounded like a princess.

Thembi said she hopes Princess is mentally ready for what is about to happen in her life.

“You are gifted and I want you to believe and trust in yourself,” she said.
