I am being targeted – Suspended Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane

Suspended Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane insists she is being targeted for doing her work. She is continuing her fight to keep her job in the inquiry into her fitness to hold office.

Mkhwebane has been dealt several legal blows since taking the oath of office as public protector. This prompted the Democratic Alliance, among others, to say she must step down.

Several witnesses testified that they felt victimised by Mkhwebane, and accused her of abusing her power but she insists that she is the victim.
