Are you an experienced HR Manager living in the Somerset West, Hermanus, Onrus or Grabouw area? We have the ideal job opportunity in the Grabouw area where we are requiring an experienced HR Manager to add value and use their expertise to manage the HR function of our clients well established successful business.
REQUIREMENTS
Matric with relevant HR qualification
Min 10 years of HR management experience
Highly confidential work ethic
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage a staff compliment of 100 staff
Clear direction and structure to run the HR function successfully
DUTIES
Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee’s work is in place and be the central liaison for all staff interaction requirements
Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
Consult with managers on all issues relating to Labour and Industrial Relations ensuring good governance with policies and procedures as well as to the labour law
Assist managers with disciplinary processes and drafting of warnings where necessary
Identify IR training needs for the group – Conflict management, Compliance and risk management, Case management
Monthly EE reporting
Monitor recruitment, promotions and succession planning
Determine staffing needs, numbers & skills required to meet the staffing objectives
Assist with training of staff where necessary
Analyse skills & knowledge required for each job and develop job descriptions
Advertise vacancies, assess applications, interview applicants, administer selection assessments, make recommendations about staff appointments
Prepare Offer letters & assist with onboarding of new employees & Induction training
Manage the follow through on Probation reviews
Conduct exit interviews
Manage Wellness Programme initiatives
Manage the filing system and any other HR duties as requested by management
