Our client, a specialist nursing facility for geriatric residents, is looking for Housekeeping Attendants for future opportunities:
Nature and Purpose of the Job Role:
Clean and tidy all suites and common areas in facilities and undertake general domestic chores. Attend to laundry
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Report timeously at pre-allocated suite / common property facilities/staff quarters as per roster, and carry out standard domestic (tidying and cleaning) duties as per job specifications list;
Vacuum and dust to ensure general cleanliness;
Ensure safekeeping and return of all cleaning materials and equipment, and monitor and account for usage;
Ensure safekeeping of the contents and keys of suites/building;
Report to the Supervisor any defect requiring maintenance, repair or special attention (e.g. broken window, blocked drain, jammed window, leaking taps, damp in house, etc.)
Liaise with the Supervisor in relation to additional domestic chores (e.g. spring cleaning, washing and ironing);
Perform any other general or manual duties as reasonably required to;
Working overtime as operational requirements determine.
Essential
Sound practical background in housekeeping/laundry
Understand hygiene and health and safety measures
Excellent personal hygiene
Good reading, writing and speaking of English
