Somizi says this will be the last year he’ll be hosting the #SAMA24

Local TV and radio personality Somizi Mhlongo said that this year will be the very last time he’ll be hosting the Samas.

Somizi was announced as the host for Samas 2018, the third year in a row, alongside Dineo Ranaka and comedian Mpho Popps.

The Idols SA judge previously hosted the music award show with Thando Thabethe, and Tumi Morake the following year.

Taking to Instagram, Somizi wrote: “This year is definitely my last time hosting. I’m pulling all stops. I’m giving my all. I’m not holding back.”

He added that he will have no less than seven outfit changes, all by local designers, and red bottom shoes.

“My hair for the opening alone will bring us land back,” he jokingly said at the end.
