Home Affairs briefs Parliament on the country’s ports of entry

Home Affairs Minister Aaron Motsoaledi and his department are briefing the Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs about preparations and readiness to open the country’s ports of entry. They were closed for months due to the COVID pandemic.

Twenty of the country’s ports of entry were closed in January, with some exceptions, until 15 February to minimise exposure to the virus.
