Pictures: Pastor feeds church members Dog meat for Holy communion

The self-proclaimed pastor, known as Veteran Peter from the Heaven on Earth Centre Ministries in Mahikeng, North West shocked people by feeding church members dog meat on Friday.

The centre’s Facebook page displays gruesome pictures of a slaughtered and skinned dog. Then the congregants are shown eating the meat.

On their social media, they explained why they did such an activity whereby a dog would be slaughtered and then braai and give to congregants to eat.

They wrote:

FULFILLING THE SCRIPTURE: MARK 16

16] Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

[17] And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;

[18] they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

So they claim since it was said ‘whoever believes and is baptized will be saved’, their baptism was through Dog meat.

They continued:

TO PROPHET PENUEL MGUNI

“I say to my brother Penuel just relax, God has fought for you; our Father Professor Lesego Daniel has fought for you. You have defeated the world, you helped us to rise, you helped us to see the Glory – to know the truth. This is a dog meat, but it is no longer a dog meat, this is the body of Christ. We are celebrating you my brother, we are celebrating our victory, this ministry is turning one (1) year today, but we are not counting days we are going one continuous day, we are here and sustained because of you. You gave us courage, continue to do the good works until Christ is fully formed in this world, bless you my brother.”

However, this has been found somehow not good by those outside the ministry and there seem to be actions to be taken over this act.
