SAPS investigates alleged holiday swindler
If it’s too good to be true, then it probably is.
That’s a stern warning from the police to people who are looking to invest or book holidays with agents they’ve never met.
This is after allegations that the CEO of South African travel agency Hello Darlings, Tasneem Moosa, has skipped the country with millions of rand from clients.
The police are investigating.
Police spokesperson Brenda Muridili said in Gauteng they are investigating 25 cases so far.
“We still appeal to anyone who has fallen victim to this scam to come forward.”
